There are some medications that should not be taken with Zanaflex such as alprazolam, lorazepam, diazepam, morphine, methadone, oxycodone, amitriptyline, nortriptyline, and protriptyline. Consumption of this medicine while taking Zanaflex may cause some side effects like drowsiness etc.
You can take Zanaflex with or without food. Maximum 3 doses should be taken in 24 hrs. You can take tizanidine 2mg(an active ingredient of Zanaflex) between 6 to 8 hrs.
